Momentous Controversy of the Season

What the great debate is about, in part (image used by permission)

Hi, Gang!

Since we are in the midst of Chanukkah and may feel more or less impelled to look favorably on the locally luminous latke, I remind serious utopians of what is ultimately at stake in the great latke-hamantash debate. And that is: a great deal.

Perhaps understandably, I continue to be persuaded by the incomparable logic of the empirically-grounded Dr. Robin Leidner, in her Materialist-Feminist Analysis of Latke vs. Hamantash. However, additional arguments brought forward this year deserve careful consideration in greater depth.

May all partisans to the controversy enjoy good health and happiness now and in the world to come, when the latke will lie down with the hamantash and a little child will eat them. Delicious.
